Dental Implants

Dental Implants

Dental implants are inserted into the jawbone to provide a supporting base for a prosthesis. A prosthesis is an artificial tooth/teeth which is usually in the form of a crown or a bridge. Crowns, bridges or dentures are then placed by your dental practitioner on top of the dental implants to mimic and function like real teeth.

In some cases, bone needs to be grafted when there is not enough bone to support the dental implants. This procedure can sometimes be performed under local anaesthetic or may need a general anaesthetic.

We work very closely with your dental practitioner to provide the best implant treatment for you. Dr Cho is very experienced in a wide range of implants and his attention to detail ensures the most ideal placement for your needs.
